Due to flooding and hazardous road conditions the Star City School District will be altering bus routes tomorrow morning. Buses will not pick up on the following roads: Atkins, Balmont, Bitely, Blair, Dover, Evans, Greenhill, and Kiowa. If any bus route modifications cause a student not to be picked up by the bus and parents are unable to bring their child to school, we ask the parents to please contact the school. If a student is absent due to any bus route modifications, it will be an excused absence. Safety is our top priority. #WhateverItTakes

Three Star City School District art students will be recognized this Saturday (March 31) at 1 pm at the Old State House in Little Rock for their achievement in the 2018 Arkansas Art Educators Youth Art Month Flag Contest.

4th place - Emma Kelley, 5th grade
For placing 1st Kylee will receive $100 worth of art supplies and Mrs. Davis will receive $300 worth of art supplies.
High School Division - Roger High, teacher

Congratulations to the following Star City students for placing at the 2018 Arkansas Art Educators Southeast Regional Art Show. The art show is now on display at the UAM Fine Arts Center. An awards reception will be held on Sunday, April 8 at 2 pm. The first place winners will be included in the state art show this summer in Little Rock.
