Graduation Information 2018
Monday, May 21st - Seniors will meet in front of the high school at 8:15 a.m. We will load the buses to go to the Elementary and Middle Schools to do a walk through in your cap and gowns. After the walk through, seniors will assemble in the high school auditorium for the Senior Awards Assembly, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. They will remain in their caps and gowns to receive their awards. Parents of the seniors are invited to this assembly. (DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR CAP AND GOWN!)
Tuesday, May 22nd- Seniors will have a lunch at 11:00 a.m. provided by the Star City Women’s League at Mike’s Place. Graduation practice will begin at 1:00 on the football field. This is a mandatory practice in order to be able to walk in graduation. Missing for work is not an excuse. All school debts must be paid by this time. (Honor Grad Cords, Completer Cords, and Beta Stoles will be passed out at practice-these are the only items that can be worn in graduation).
Thursday, May 24th- Graduation Day! All Seniors will meet in the high school cafeteria by 7:15 with cap and gowns on. Boys need white button up shirts on with dress pants, a tie, and dress shoes. Girls need to be in a dress with dress shoes. NO TENNIS SHOES, FLIP FLOPS, OR WORK BOOTS! Graduation hats CANNOT be decorated or written on!
